Chanel has recalled a bevy of garments after the Consumer Product Safety Commission found that several styles failed to meet the federal flammability standard. In other words, some of the scarves, dresses, skirts, and blouses the French fashion house sold over the course of a few months could put your life at risk.

The Orange County Register first reported on the recall last week, quoting a CPSC alert that said the 120 scarves and 34 other garment styles recalled posed “a fire hazard to consumers.” According to the CPSC, all of the garments were 100 percent silk and were sold at Neiman Marcus, Maxfield, and Chanel boutiques in March and April of last year.

The Commission’s alert notes that most of the garments were returned to Chanel last May, but it leaves instructions for anyone who still mithght have one of the offending pieces of silk to “immediately stop using the garments and contact the firm to receive a full
